課程概述

本課程將以「時間序列」但「問題核心」的方式去將學界近卅年來對明清兩朝所經歷的歷史問題的研究成果與理解，透過「課堂演講」與「文獻討論」交錯方式，將學界研究的成果與思考的脈絡介紹給大學部的學生。課程配當上，兩個小時為演講，一個小時為文獻討論課（特別是學者所利用過的文獻）。

課程目標

透過本課程，希冀修課學生可以對明清兩朝重要歷史問題，能建立起「多脈絡」的社會史學術理解與培養對學術成果的對話能力。

課程要求

修課學生必須參與lecture並完成指定之閱讀，撰寫周讀書心得報告（一學期有15周，每人選交5份，期末取最高分之3份，加總平均為該部分之成績）。另撰寫期中小報告一份。最後則為期末書評報告。

目前僅列部分英文專書部分，單篇論文與中文世界的研究成果與每週要討論的文獻，待容後補上詳細的課程閱讀配當。但基本上，每週的閱讀量計畫為：中文60-80 頁，英文15-30頁。
